Hello and Namaste from India, I've been growing these pigeon peas on my terrace garden and they are really good, fixes nitrogen and provides shade to the lower plants.

I have about 4-5 plants of pegion pea, highly productive. I use both green as vegetable dried as lentil.

Winter melon is also made into drinks, you can buy wintermelon tea from the Asian grocer. It would be interesting to be able to make it yourself 👍.

It’s perennial also. Don’t have to plant it again and again.

I feel like people confuse subtropcial and tropcial. Subtropcial is just a warmer temperate climate with mild 4 seasons whereas tropics just has 2 seasons
@VeganChiefWarrior4 жыл бұрын
u sound a little confused yourself lol, subtropics has wet summers and dry winters and only 2 seasons like the tropics, temperate wet season is in the colder part of the year, so temperate is opposite to sub tropics and tropics, its called "sub" tropics and not sub temperate for a reason, you will confuse others with your comment
@introtwerp4 жыл бұрын
@@VeganChiefWarrior no the subtropics do have 4 seasons but it just feels like winter and summer (2 seasons)
@introtwerp4 жыл бұрын
@@VeganChiefWarrior because subtropcial climates are still considered temperate but very mild and warm
@VeganChiefWarrior4 жыл бұрын
@@introtwerp i thnk you mean the opposite, it may feel like there are four seasons because of the noticable temperature changes throughout the year.. but the sub tropics is defined as having only 2 seasons, go to canada or the uk and you will see what 4 seasons feels like

@@VeganChiefWarrior I mean on paper we have 4 seasons but it may just feel like summer and a dry winter
