We are looking at Ozark next year in the spring but its definitely going to be a longshot with our limit being about 225k for a 4 bedroom lmao

I bought my first home in Rogersville around the same time you toured the town. I ended up watching all of your town and neighborhood videos AFTER I settled on Rogersville lol I agree it is a hidden gem! I can be at the mall in 15 minutes. There's a ton of new homes being built on the south side. All around these poor properties like the one at 2:31. I would buy it if I could. Oh well. Maybe someone will turn that pond into a mini golf course!

Haha! Yeah I guess it technically is a suburb. You don't know sometimes when you get there 😂

Ozark is the best due to its access to the 65 highway. Nixa is 2nd because of its topography, everything else is very bleh.

It depends on your preferences! 😂 There are pros to all of them 🤷🏻♂️

Not being familiar with Springfield, it's hard to tell if you're serious about avoiding the Southwest area. I know part of it is in gest, with the rivalry and all, but by finishing the video was saying to avoid it, it makes me look take note.

I can promise you, it's just the rivalry! 😂 The Southwest area of Springfield would be a great place for anyone to choose!

After living in Seattle WA and Jersey City NJ, these home prices are ridiculously low. I couldn't buy just a garage for $300K in either city. For comparison, $1M in Jersey City maybe gets you a 2bd 1,400 sqft with no land.
@wiserlivingrealty6 күн бұрын
That's crazy!!! Prices have gone up so much in just the last 10 years. It will be interesting to see what the future looks like too!

What can you advise on the Jackson place community?

We haven't heard of it! There are a lot of them in Springfield, so most you will need to contact them directly.

Did I understand you correctly that people in willard are not very friendly, and are somewhat anti-social? And you missed the one benefit of "living" in willard: its close proximity to Republic for people who are unworthy of living in Republic. Now, I hear that Republic offers free boxes of Kleenex to willardites to cry into, and counselling to assuage their grief when they realize they're not in Republic, the crown jewel of the Queen City of the Ozarks. 😛

I'm still waiting for my FREE BOX OF KLEENEX'S 🥲 ... but because Republic is SO close!!! 🤣 I've been wondering where you've been!!!

@@wiserlivingrealty Well, now that all 3 of the grandkids and families have moved here to Noblesville, Indiana I can't check on the Kleenex shipping department. Sorry.

I'm glad your grandkids and family are close. Don't worry about the Kleenex- I'll just send a bill

@@wiserlivingrealty In all seriousness, I really do miss living in the Ozarks (in the winter it's the Frozarks), and particularly Republic. The Ozarks truly is a wonderful place to live. Even Willard has something good: it's proximity to Republic. 😤
