Absolutely, but mics are not only used for amplifying sound. Being a former performer myself, I’m very accustomed to being in a studio and having every nuance of a song tweaked to sound like perfection. She’s also not using an electronic guitar, back-up singers, and fancy stage props to distract us. I get the echo chamber that the hollowness of the subway creates-trust me, I live in New York City. All I’m saying, in essence, is that we’re getting a taste of the most purest form of entertainment...for free.

Revelations 1:13-15 Christ is black 13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. Daniel 7:9 God is Black 9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. 1 Maccabees 3:48 How Christ became "White" 48 And laid open the book of the law, wherein the heathen had sought to paint the likeness of their images. Read the about the curses in Deuteronomy 28:16-68. The so-called African Americans are the Children of Israel. Everything that was taught to us about God was taught to us by our forefathers and foremothers slave masters. This is how God feels about those slave masters: Exodus 21:16 16 And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.

Well, since you asked... I like the song, and I can play it myself. It is a delicate song, and I just don't think this variation on it really fits the mood of the song. Innovation can be great, but not always. Maybe she should try playing a Led Zeppelin or a Who song in this frenetic acoustic style, it might work. Not for Landslide, though. Not for me. JMO.

This rendition, in that setting, under those conditions - was simply other-worldly. It was the absolute best, most heart-wrenching version of this song I have ever heard in my life. And, sadly, it will never be repeated (same echo, same emotion, same pre-fame circumstances). What these lucky people have witnessed in person, was better than just about any live performance I've ever seen in a stadium. They have no idea what they were witness to, and that only adds to the sadness and authenticity of Ashley Stevenson's incredible raw talent. I am positive that - like me - so many of the over 26M views of this are repeat performances. We're all coming back for the incredible emotional pull it gives us, with every view. You can tell, this isn't *just* another song for her, she's laying her soul out there for all to see; and, for me, it's one of the most powerful performances I've ever seen. Thank you Ashley, peace, and please stay safe.
