Subway Shooting Suspect Arrested: What His Video Diaries Reveal

The man suspected of shooting 10 people and injuring 13 others has been arrested in New York. Frank Robert James discussed violence extensively, expressed bigoted views and criticized New York City's mayor in numerous video clips he posted online. James spoke openly and often about violence in videos he appeared to have posted on the KZbin channel, “prophet of truth 88,” which by early Wednesday had been terminated by the social media platform.

That sadly breaks my heart. I was in NYC years back and have been around that area as well as the subway. RIP to everyone who lost their lives to a man who is suffering a horrible mental illness. My brother is a police officer. He tells me that they can’t keep anyone in jail anymore. It sounds like a catch and release process. The closure of mental hospitals doesn’t help either. A large portion of the incarcerated suffer from some sort of mental disorder. Unfortunately, it appears that some mental illness is being celebrated as being different in a special way instead of treated for what it is.
