To any one wondering if there’s gonna be a new episode, due to the pandemic that happened in 2020 (when subway surfers got extremely popular) and a small company working on this, it will take many years to complete a show especially trying to make each episode longer with great action and story. In an article they said they wanted to make each episode longer than 20 minutes so trying to animate with a limited amount of people will take forever to accomplish. Please don’t pressure sybo, I know their trying their best as we speak. We can only wait.

@@noj802 perhaps, however with how much attention they keep mentioning towards the show I have a feeling they are teasing at something about the show to keep us interested until we wait. Besides the company that is working on this show (warner bros animation) is DEFINITELY not broke alongside SYBO, (they make more than enough money to keep the game going, they can surely keep a show going) so I don’t think it’s a bankruptcy problem. It’s probably something smaller like the effects of the pandemic.

I've been into subway surfers for an ungodly amount of my life. I've basically mastered the game and even played knock offs to fuel my interest just to feel the bless of this franchise. I've collected everything, tried to hit top score, wrote headcanons and storylines about the characters and so much more... its been a pure addiction, I even have those pair of vans kept perfectly in my room. And every year or so I rewatch this uncomplete show, waiting for the day it comes back. Just to see how it all is put together, to make sense of it all in a way everyone can enjoy. I truly hope that soon enough, in one of these years that I live, I'll get to see this go on. Also Frank is hot.

You know, i was so ready to brush this off as a cringy cash grab of a dead game. I watched the other episodes with slight surprise because i saw the potential it had and what it delivered on. But this episode was really something! It makes me wanna know what's happening, and why is the rabbit dude so legitimately creepy? The thought and care that they treat the characters and how they express their emotions show through the show and it's amazing!

Exactly! I was dubious too at first about this animation project, considering Subway Surfers is no longer a fad. But I always liked the visuals of the game and the characters all have the potential to be interesting based on designs alone. So when I knew they made an animated series I was immediately intrigued but also skeptical considering SS is just a game about train surfing and nothing more, I was afraid they are just making an episodic cartoon with the formula being the kids got themselves into trouble and had to be chased around by the security constantly. And then there is this episode, which shows they have actually written a serious plot where the franchise premise can be relevant somehow. And I think that's good.
