I’ve missed your mixed media projects AND … I love that you’ve set an example of self care. We’ve witnessed your struggles and waited patiently while you’ve and taken breaks, focused on what interests you and allowed your creativity some rest when it needed it. You’ve helped me see the importance but also that we don’t easily give ourselves breaks. You made it “ok” that I struggled with allowing myself rest. You’re such an inspiration in so many ways.

I think it’s important to do what YOU feel like doing. You do beautiful work whether you do mixed media, cards, watercolor, whatever is in your creative mind. I’ve seen you do a scrapbook page that got me started watching your videos. I’ve watched you do collages. You got me hooked on your more of your videos when I saw you use a woman’s face from a magazine and were adding light bulbs in her hair…how you use your creativity and switch around keeps me watching. You do what is making you happy because it shines through and is such a pleasure to hear you and watch your process. I wish I had time to watch all your videos.

This is beautiful. Sometimes when we take a good break from something, we can come back feeling renewed and rejuvenated, and go back to loving what we used to do. Art, in all it's forms, is so wide and varied, that it can take a long time to figure out what it is that truly fills up our souls with joy. I love these reverse canvases. I would love to see perhaps something more feminine next time, or just a completely different style. Oh, and I love your studio cleanups. I love to see all your goodies. I am so glad you are going back and doing your mixed media canvas projects. I am hoping that you go back to doing your journal pages again too. I discovered you when Yahoo suggested your videos. I wanted to get into Mixed Media, but most of the other mixed media artists, but I never got any inspiration from their projects. But after watching a couple of your videos I fell in love with your style, your attitude, your inspiration and they way you include your family/your life in videos.

Thank you for being such an inspiration to me. The way you emphasize using what you have, and verbalizing your thought processes... you've really allowed me to feel confident not only to explore collage - but also to think of new ways to use collage and papercraft for *my* lifestyle. I've always berated myself for not keeping "proper' photo albums of our trips and holidays. Everything always just ends up thrown in a shoebox for later. YOU made me think, "Wait, what if I decorate the shoebox inside and outside on the theme of that trip or holiday and we have a Memory Box"? Now that's what we do, and I don't run myself down anymore! Now we save receipts, ticket stubs, train passes, restaurant paper coasters... all for the Memory Box of the trip. Thank you for all that you do.

I love the mix media canvas/board. Thank you for reminding us that you can just pick out things/ephemera that you like and then decide/discover what you want to make with them. I found you through your mixed media videos so I love seeing this again. I had a head injury and struggle with painting and drawing like I used to, but mixed media is doable and theraputic. I have a lot of canvas projects, I also cover the sides. I have a lot of canvas boards, and I like to use grey cardboard as well. Then I put it in picture frames. I'm happy you are doing canvas again... thanks I need inspiration. ❤ Thank you 🙏
