My Suggestion Tite Stop loss Not at all good .... Why Because if you are keeping small SL it may hit immediately. If you are having a full confident on current trade which you taking its going in your direction Saty long Based on your technical indicators....If the trading going opposite to your prediction Just exit with out any sentiments Just exit immediately hardly you lost Brokerage charges .Strongly remember Only one to two good trades enough in a day if you fully confident on you are in right direction. Dont think too much about sl just think about you are in right direction or not because trend is your friend.

this 1% would Never work for Futures trading, Yes for Cash/Equity stocks. Bcoz., in Futures the Lot size is Big and 1% would hit multiple times. So, it's impossible for futures trading.

@@jinfin221 No. still it won't work. whether your account is 10 Lakhs or 30 Lakhs, 1% means it's just 1% for every trade...so it doesn't make any difference. If you are suggesting keep the a/c size Large, and increase the Risk > 1%, then this formula (1% per trade) won't work either in that case. if your a/c size is 10 L and you use 3 L to buy 1 lot, and your 1% must be 3000 only and not 10000.

initially you have to aim small so you miss small. Get experience and the you can trade confidently. Btw learn to draw the line between confidence and overconfidence. Position Sizing: Always risk 1% of your trading capital. Assume, You have 100000 in your Trading ac. Than, 1% of 100000 is 1000. Now, Predetermine your stoploss Say your stoploss is 20rs. So, 1000÷20=50 You can buy only 50stocks. So risk only 1000 per trade.

I think he never took trade with 3 Lakhs. Cause options moves minimum of around 10 points which comes roughly to 5% and he made 6% in 10 days. He losses are less so he should have made atleast 30% with 3 Lakhs. I think he traded with 30k every time. If it's so I really appreciate him cause not tempting to trade with full 3 Lakhs.

I would say best advice for small capital players ranging below 10-20 k is 2% profit is more than enough. Like if i trade with 5000 rupees full margin, 50 rupees profit look so dumb and low. I dint even book my profit when i was having 200 p&l coz i had lost 400 in total. Thats fucked up
