What I find interesting is Jordan lays out what he believes to be a good path but never insists his way is the only or the right one. He then states he may be wrong and invites others so he and others may hear different opinions. I don’t agree with everything he says but it appears to me his goal is to open peoples minds to think and improve. It is a net good to me.

But I’ve hit a brick wall and physically, and mentally trying to take care of myself to a point where I am at this moment, staring at a lake, thinking about if I took all my meds right now…. could just jump in the lake and you know it’ll probably take a few weeks before anyone even missed me… why do I keep driving? Why do I keep even trying? I wish someone would reach out to me but…

Please, think about this: There is a big difference between saying, 'I love you', and 'love you. 'I love you' implies your heart's connected feeling toward another. 'Love you' cheapens the thought. It eliminates and removals whatever connection your heart had. 'Love you" removes your heart from any feeling toward another.

I prayed a similar prayer about 4 years ago. I asked God to reveal Himself, hoping I would get to see or hear Him physically. I didn't get what I was looking for in terms of physically witnessing Him, instead He revealed Himself in scripture, and then He started hitting me with philosophical truth bombs. But the point is that it began with prayer, and continued with a certain daily amount of scripture. Basically i got tired of everyone telling me that "their way" was "the way". I remembered the verse spoken by Jesus Christ, "I am the way, the Truth, and the life..." and I thought," what better source to go to than the one who claims to be "Truth" itself. So I start everyday with my audio Bible, listening only through Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in the mornings, because they contain the words of Jesus Himself. Personally, I feel like this has planted a seed in me that has been fruitful. I don't know if this testimony addresses what you're asking about, but I hope it resonates somehow. God bless

I think Peterson would remind you of the power of incremental change and the humility of setting a goals low enough. There is something you should change that you could change that you WOULD actually change. You start there. You don't have to adopt every syllable of self improvement ushered on to you by internet gurus. You just have to find ways to make your own life a little better one step at a time. And you don't have to chase some ambitious career because of it. You can be a dishwasher the rest of your life if you can become a person that can do that with nobility and self respect without ever resenting the world for it. A dishwasher that always tells the truth and shows up every day is doing a much more honorable thing than you might think. There is nothing more holy than serving others humbly. There's no greater calling than that. It's a small part to play, but you can play it with honor, and you'll be twice the man that most are.

9:56 Only Jesus can save us from Hell. Once you accept your sinful nature, regret and do not practice it, and understand that you need a savior and surrender yourself to Jesus so he can direct your steps in life, if you continue praying to God for mercy and follow Jesus with integrity until death, you WILL NOT end up in Hell. Don't even doubt it. Our debt has been paid IN FULL, so there's no reason to doubt. Have faith, because God doesn't approve of those who lack faith. But even if you do, you can ask for more faith, and it shall be graciously granted to you through the power of the Holy Spirit.
@ozarkcyn19 ай бұрын
You really should learn what you do nor know before you waste your entire life believing something you were programmed to believe NOT in your best interest. Learn from Billy Carson. That should wake you up and he DEFINITELY believes in God.
@cariocajin9 ай бұрын
@@ozarkcyn1 Billy Carson?! That dude that allegedly went to jail? What's his story? I don't know much about him, if he believes in God or not. Nope. Not wasting my life. It seems like so to a lot of people who don't believe, but that's OK, bro. I get that a lot. Many Christians got persecuted and died. I know what life and death is. Those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, even if they die, they will not perish. There's hope for resurrection. ( Abraham believed and became the patriach of all those who believe ). It's not programing. It's evidence-based faith in many fields, such as history, astronomy, science and testimonials. A lot of religious fanatics stick to testimonials and false displays of miracles only, but not me. I do my homework. God is abstract ( spirit ), but he opens up a way for you to see tangible evidences. All humans die regardless ( good people and bad people ) and they make their choices how they want to conduct their lives when they are alive. I ain't dying for the Pope, pastor or Billy Carson or any imperfect human. If you don't belong to the faith or have abandoned it, then it's pointless to reason with you. I'm not going to preach. There are countless religions out there and this is not a very good media to preach, anyway. I have a relationship with God. I can talk about God and give witness about HIs wonders, but unless the person I'm talking to open up their eyes, or has been called by Holy Spirit ( like the Apostle Paul ) and analyze everything and understand that there is a higher intelligence, and we can see Him through His creation, it is impossible to even start. You don't need to answer to this commentary, but if you want to talk about Billy Carson, I'm interested. Peace, bro !

Take your god and go. You people need to learn that not everyone shares your faith and it is insanely rude, disrespectful, and disgusting to come into the spaces of others speaking this way. Especially on a video like this where people are at their lowest. Do you have any idea how predatory you're being? Seeking out people while they are at their most vulnerable so that you can manipulate them? More now than ever people are leaving your faith for very just reasons.
