What I find interesting is Jordan lays out what he believes to be a good path but never insists his way is the only or the right one. He then states he may be wrong and invites others so he and others may hear different opinions. No one will ever see this, but I’m 59 and I have cancer. So I lost my home. . My point is I got a job as a Lyft driver just so that I could keep taking care of myself. But I’ve hit a brick wall and physically, and mentally trying to take care of myself to a point where I am at this moment, staring at a lake, thinking about if I took all my meds right now…. could just jump in the lake and you know it’ll probably take a few weeks before anyone even missed me… why do I keep driving? I prayed a similar prayer about 4 years ago. I asked God to reveal Himself, hoping I would get to see or hear Him physically. I didn't get what I was looking for in terms of physically witnessing Him, instead He revealed Himself in scripture, and then He started hitting me with philosophical truth bombs. But the point is that it began with prayer, and continued with a certain daily amount of scripture. Basically i got tired of everyone telling me that "their way" was "the way". I remembered the verse spoken by Jesus Christ, "I am the way, the Truth, and the life..." and I thought," what better source to go to than the one who claims to be "Truth" itself. So I start everyday with my audio Bible, listening only through Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in the mornings, because they contain the words of Jesus Himself. Personally, I feel like this has planted a seed in me that has been fruitful. I don't know if this testimony addresses what you're asking about, but I hope it resonates somehow. God bless

I think Peterson would remind you of the power of incremental change and the humility of setting a goals low enough. There is something you should change that you could change that you WOULD actually change. You start there. You don't have to adopt every syllable of self improvement ushered on to you by internet gurus. You just have to find ways to make your own life a little better one step at a time. And you don't have to chase some ambitious career because of it. You can be a dishwasher the rest of your life if you can become a person that can do that with nobility and self respect without ever resenting the world for it. A dishwasher that always tells the truth and shows up every day is doing a much more honorable thing than you might think. There is nothing more holy than serving others humbly. There's no greater calling than that. It's a small part to play, but you can play it with honor, and you'll be twice the man that most are.

I think before you were famous you wouldn’t have cared if children wanted to experiment with different genders and identities. I think you’d have been receptive to the idea that the brain and the sex organs might require hormone replacement therapy to function together properly.
