I am 68 years old, wearing glasses with -4.75D progressive(+2d, I guess). I am very active in working on the computer and playing golf every week. I had a plan to have cataract surgery with Vivity IOL mini monovision. And I don't mind having glasses for near vision if I have to in the worst cases, because I have been wearing glasses for life. However, on the day of the surgery, the doctor said that I need +12d, but +12d vivity is not available at the moment. So my surgery has been postponed for now. However, on second thought, I am very confused. If I have to go to mini monovision, why shouldn't I go to monofocal IOL or Eyhance IOL? I know the range could be narrower but I think I may have better quality visions. Or just simply a couple of monofocal or Eyhance IOLs, with glasses for near vision? I believe that those IOLs may have more contrast sensitivity than Vivity IOL mini monnovision. I am very afraid of having trifocal because of the quality of the vision. Do I have any other choices? Any benefit in having any EDOF IOL, Vivity or accomodating IOLs? Thanks for reading my long story in patience.

I suggest Symfony if you do not care about possible halo, or Eyhance is it might be an issue.
