I work with children with Down Syndrome across the borough of Southwark in London, UK. I have found your videos so user-friendly and accessible for people in schools working with children with DS. I have supported schools to implement your strategies and approaches over the past 3 years, and the results are fantastic! I just want to say a huge thank you for producing these resources.

Wow, so helpful, thank you so much. I teach to lads with Downs Syndrome. I have been struggling with one of them. I've been using some of the strategies you suggested before I saw this video, but this has helped me pull things together and do some of my previous activities in a different way. Thank you so much!

Thank a lot for this great workshop. I have started working with some children with Down Syndrome as part of a Inclusive Education. I am teaching English as a Forgering language, and It has been a huge challenge to promote a good learning experience. This video has been very helpful, but I still struggle in deciding what and how to teach.

It seems like a wonderful idea...but unfortunately I'm in a situation where I can't one-on-one teach 99% of the time and my DSS is an ESL learner. There are no speech pathologists, no occupational therapist, no reading or speech helpers, and no assistance in class. (Working in China at an international school) Any ideas on how to handle such a situation? I'm so engrossed in teaching my differentiated class at different levels in all subjects that I just don't have the time to do much for her...and I really want to. I put her in a group with lower learners but she still struggles.

What are your understandings about teaching two alphabets at the same time (to a 3 year old)? Should we teach one alphabet and then a year later another? Or should we do both at the same time?

Can this be implemented with a 10 years old who recognizes only the alphabet?
