this is a PERFECT song for tom and his relationship with shiv. he's willing to put up with so much from her as long as she's still his. its a similar thing with greg but without the overt romantic context and a less formally defined relationship, tom feels a need to hold on tighter, whereas shiv is bound to him by marriage.

Probably I am the only person in the world who watched all four seasons of Succession with the TV on mute .. Why? Because Matthew MacFadyen speaking without his beautiful voice was simply unbearable to me .. but I love this beautiful man so I watched with mute button fully activated .. Matthew is a quintessential actor who can communicate effectively and brilliantly through his wondrous eyes .. his enigmatic facial expressions .. his exquisite hand movements .. all this accented and punctuated by an achingly beautiful smile.. so I was able to understand him without hearing a word .. and he won a well deserved Emmy for his performance, so .. Did not have to be this way, though .. they could have had Matthew's character Tom born in the UK of American parents transferred there .. and then transferred adult Tom to Minnesota with his delicious accent in tact .. the story would have rolled on as it did and those of us who love Matthew could have enjoyed his sensual voice to our hearts content .. Matthew without his trademark voice is like sugar free ice cream .. good ,, but something is definitely missing .. Btw .. have you ever heard Matthew MacFadyen's brilliant ad for Hagen Das ice cream? Ohhh.... Tom's babygirl face is soooo cute😫😮‍💨 I just dislike Shioban for this Specific reason I mean of course there are other attributes to her personality 😤😤but my beef is this - Tom was soo cute 🤤😩😩so tall so handsome and yet she still treated him like trash 😮‍💨😑 they could' ve had a good thing and perhaps Shioban could have had a first healthy relationship and dynamic as a Family but no😒she just had to be a bitch to him
