There are many old buildings in where i live, but many of them are dilopidated. However, I love old buildings and they shows us where we had been come. Even though they are in poor condition, I would like to see them around anyway. I believe we should preserve old buildings in our city and we make them landmarks of the city. Our country has a rich heritage because many culture had been living in here and if we can achieve maintain our culture it would be great. Everybody knows that well-maintained-buildings can be tourist attraction and it anchors area in the history. Because of there are no maintenance in my country there is no architectural taste of my people; whereas there are many historical place in here. I infer that, maintenance is vital for architectural taste. Thank you so much Rory and Maria. Your videos so easy to watch. Sincerely.

Hello, our country Iran has around 2500 years old. The oldest ancient building is Takht-e-Jamshid. It was the house of ancient Iranian kings 2500 years ago.

I like old buildings, because they have their own history and when you see on them you ask yourself how people could build this huge building.

halo! the phrase is bring up to code or keep up to code?
@SuccesswithIELTS2 жыл бұрын
Hi! It can be both! You'd say "bring up to code" when something is not up to code, and you need to fix something for it to be up to code. "Keep up to code" = it's already in this "up to code" state and you need to keep it that way.
