Birthdays are important, planned by your friends in my country. If the weather is good, we generally go out. Your friends throw a party. You blow out candles and take presents. Even though I say it is not important, I care about remembering and other people cares. When you are getting older, people your around is getting fewer and birthdays loss their importance. As a teenager I go to parties at my friend's home. That was ok. I am pretty low maintenance. I dont like extravagant things.

A good start but please be careful with articles and present simple. It might sound better as: "Well, l usually do same: work and, if l have money, l go out with my friends, and enjoy a staycation. The most unforgettable part is when when l blow the candles out." Hopefully it helps. =]
