So glad you had the love of your life that is still with you! Better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all... At my age, I've all but given up! But im content in life i love my own company but it does get lonely sometimes. I still run around feeling like a kid mostly so i try to maintain some hope! You just never really know what life holds! Im always excited to see whats next, and explore the possibilities. Exploring is my favorite sport lol i love learning and seeing new things so i never stop growing, as long as im teachable and open-minded! Thank you for teaching me too! Ive learned so much from you. Even how to gracefully get through grief and still live. I know now im not alone in that! Beautiful arrangement i wish i had a crest to watch it grow. Ill just watch yours! Im a vicarious learner too! Thx (:

You have such patience and creativity! I would have thrown my hands up and pulled it all out and started all over 🤣😂

And then they die....😂 Just kidding. It would have been much easier to start all over, but the ebony hybrid doesn't like to have their roots interrupted especially when the weather is getting warmer. Thanks for watching, Sharron and hope you enjoyed the video. 🥰

I'm glad you enjoyed the video, Debbie. He was a very private person(I'm the opposite🤣). Now that he's gone and even with his blessing before passing... I still feel I have to thread carefully when sharing stories about him. Thanks for watching and have a wonderful day!🥰

I love your teaching about succulents. Lots of information you share with us. I love succulents so much but my all of succulents are dead. I bought again and I will try to save this time . Could you please tell what can I use insted of compost granite because in my country from Bangladesh there’s is no compost granite.
@GrowingSucculentswithLizKКүн бұрын
When all else fail..... Coconut coir.☺️ It will provide good drainage and at the same time, will hold enough moisture for the plants to live on until they need watering again. Depending on how HUMID your area is, will depend on how often you water them. Good practice to let the coconut dry up before watering again. Maybe start with an inexpensive plant to practice with. Wishing you all the very best, Janna and hope they will grow. 🥰

I’m deeply sorry for your loss. 😢 Wish I could give you a hug 🫂 You have re-ignited my passion for succulents,I neglected them for a while. My chalk stick is getting crested at the top,should I cut it off and propagate it? Thank you in advance 💚🪴
@GrowingSucculentswithLizKКүн бұрын
If it's only one, I would wait till it gets a bit bigger. They tend to grow more off shoots if left a while to grow. When there is more than one, then I would chop. Always good to have a back-up. Thanks for watching.🥰

@ Thank you. There’s several, I’d had them for years and this is the first time. 💚

Liz have you noticed crested succulents grow faster than the 'normal' ones?
@GrowingSucculentswithLizKКүн бұрын
Actually.... Now that you mentioned it... They do grow really fast. As long as they don't get hit by the frost. Then they stop growing.🤣 I have two fast crested growers that needed rescuing. Thanks for watching.🥰
