Watching again: I didn’t know that about “arboretums.” TY 🙏🏼 I love Terry’s tapestry😉👍🏼 One of my favorite things to plant. I decided while watching this I am going to turn a section of my side yard planted with naturalized plants into more cacti and succulents. And boulders. Love Palm Springs Gold. Thank you again, Laura! 😘💚🙏🏼

Laura, I just realized that my Dad made this type of display in the late 50s at our house in Eagle Rock. Large boulders, Century agave, other cacti. I have photos! We had an old fountain planted with succulents at the base of our front steps. It was my job every Saturday morning to clean out the detritus! Thanks to your inspiration, I now have 3 areas in my front yard with tapestries with different rock, and I like to add a Little Lucky Lantana for a splash of color. 😘🙏🏼❤️

Is it possible to share a range of budget for plants/rocks that you used in front and in back? I have a front and backyard with similar spaces.

Probably! Most of my designers have launched their own companies. I share crew as a way to support their efforts.

I know it might sound mean for you to pick apart the mistakes made when the arborist tried to replace the plants after moving the tree, but we would learn a lot from a point by point critique. I mean, I can see it's not gorgeous like you would do, but I'm not sure why!
