you did inspire me to get some more, I have also a beautifull one with pink/purple color, i don't know the name. First i didn't like cacti at all now i love them... so i wil expand my collection. But i have to learn a lot how to take care of them. Grow light no grow light, indoors, outdoors, and so on. Great video, thanks!!💖

I have a lot of videos where you can see their placement in the house. They are only 1/7 part of my succulent collection 😄.

I love your new addition, especially the ingens monstrose, so interesting plant, the cooperi for the delicate bluish color and the it growths, and the greenwayi which is absolutely stunning ! What a festival of euphorbias ! And the color of your monadenium is impressive. So beautiful ! Mine is standing by the window and is completely green… I remember your grandicornis, a really beautiful plant which I don’t have yet. Maybe a next purchase ! Almost 50 euphorbias that’s pretty good ! After watching your video I run to count mine and I have only 27 different specimen hahaha ! Yes your video definitely inspired me ! The brown spots are called “corking” and it ia a natural and good thing. It doesn’t look the best but you cannot cut it off. Nor should you. Euphorbias and some cacti do this as they grow. Most of your euphorbia will get corking as they get older. You have to love that or you won’t enjoy your euphorbia 😅

I love Euphorbia, but i love cacti way more. However, have you ever looked into Caudiciform type succulents? Also very cool, natural to South Africa. _East Austin Succulents_ has some really cool ones in stock, and many others out of stock, unfortunately.

Wow 49! What a great video, so informative. I also have the E. knuthii and it’s my understanding that if grown from cuttings, they will not grow a caudex. I’ve had my cuttings growing outside in Phoenix for many years and I love how it trails down and twists around itself, still no caudex. Yours are cared for much better than mine 😁 however, I just wanted to convey this information that I was told by a grower/seller at the Desert Botanical Gardens. If I remember correctly, he grew his from seed. Thanks for the video. I’m going to watch it again😀👍

Thank you! By the way I should take pictures for you. Both of my cuttings grew codex and I discovered it on accident because I was trying to cut off some of new branches and then I cut through codex that was emerging. I will observe and see what happens as I continue to propagate 😊

Thank you!!! So glad euphorbias you bought are growing well. Florida is good for euphorbias as they love hear and a bit more water than other succulents 😊. Here in Michigan they love only 5 months outside 😄

Just got into euphorbia last year, got myself an ammak variegated and a red trigona. Dark days here in the winter so I got a sensi grow light and they both seem to love it. Look forward to seeing the growth in the summer though. Think I want to get myself one of those dragon bones!

Amazingly there are other varieties of the pencil type like the enterophora, intisy, stenoclada, sticks on fire, leucodendron and others. The traits are amazing in and of themselves and in addition to that you can make crosses. Also I hear that in maturity an individual specimen can take on the traits of both parties and set seeds so I'm guessing that's an opportunity for a cross. I say it's worth a search to look up one of these crosses. An intisy cultivar for instance can be pretty indistinguishable from the more common pencil early on but in the long run has it's own very distinct branching patterns. Sad thing is a few years ago I had the opportunity to get one(they only had a few); but to me and my naivety they were just over priced pencil plants. Haven't seen any anywhere since. What I like about all these pencilly and strappy types are their potential to be nice potted, abstract topiaries.
