What a wholesome conversation this is. He mentioned living in Malad. I live around there, and I have bumped into Abhishek countless times at the Infinity Mall. This was back when he wasn't as famous as he's today (beats me why, because I knew of him and was in awe of his work). He was kind enough to chat with me every time I went up to him. And Sucharita, I bumped into you once at the Inorbit Mall Malad, I remember. You had just started out on The Film Companion, and again, I was a great fan of your work already. But this was the time still before you're as big as you're today. And you were kind enough too, to indulge in a conversation with me. I live in Philly now and visit NYC frequently. Hoping to bump into you again sometime. Wishing you both great successes (even greater I mean). I've always admired your works. :)

Amazing interview. Please interview more and more such artists including those who are behind the scenes, so that we get to know more about them. Yesterday I watched Angry Young Men and then only realized how legendary, confident, handsome, and arrogant Salim-Javed were! Not that I was not aware of Javed Akthar's craft and he was such an intellectual in his interviews, parliamentary debates. But printing their names on the posters or releasing ads that the movies will be hit was confidence at another level! Please cover such stories. It was surprising that Sucharita did not know that Abhishek is a casting director. I think I learned about it when Pataal Lok came and I googled/wikipediad him! Keep up the good work Sucharita! :-)

I came across this great actor through TVF, i.e. 'Pitcher' first (Tu kya hai... Beer hai bc) and then 'Humourously Yours'. Later on, through TVF only i came to know that he casting director also.. But his career trajectory after stree, Mirzapur and Bala is just phenomenon.. Me and My wife just love him so much and wish to meet him one day.. ❤ AB bhai.. Big Fan.. ⭐🙌
