In a way your completely right, but i would disagree with you on the COD aspect, cuz it really is - any other futuristic sci-fi shooter, not just COD. If you try playing the way you do in Halo, Planetside 2, Crysis, Killzone, Detsiny's 1 and 2, (which is prolly the closest to this), or then of course Black-Ops 3, you will get wrecked by veteran players in a heartbeat! As much as i do love the two TF games, the fact is i am just not as much of a fan for the chaotic gameplay style. I know it's somethin hardcore players adore about these games and even i like alot to an extent, but after a while it just gets a bit too much for me. I mean the skill gap between people who've been playing it a couple months compared to someone like me who's played it a shit ton since it launched - is simply enormous. Another problem i have with this game though is the community, the only other communities as toxic are the COD and Battlefield fanboys. And sadly your comment is a perfect example of it. Im a hardcore fan of futuristic sci-fi shooters in general, and so i really enjoyed this game, but also BO3, AW, IW, the Halo games, and Destiny. I mean they all have their flaws - don't get me wrong, but this constant bashing of other games to then promote the game you love is silly. BO3's gameplay isn't really anything like TF, it's far more of an on-th-ground gun-fighting style of shooter with advanced-movement system added in, where as here TF games are designed purely around that very aspect, (that and the Titans of course). You may not be a fan of those sorts of gameplay mechanics, but that doesn't mean the game itself "sucks" per'se.

Sup Benchy? People don't seem to understand that this game is "Git gud or go home". I can't play Overwatch for this reason, i can't get good and i get rekt so i gave up. Yes, i've rage quitted in Titanfall 2, yes i kinda suck but hey, some people are good and have time to learn or they simply can adapt. 60% of the matches i've played i hard carried the team, this being the main reason why i rage quitted a lot. When you are the only one carrying an entire team you get tired, it takes the fun away so i haven't played Titanfall 2 in a while. Just my 2 cents tho.

It's not dying at all, I just do not think it really ever lived. It's just little known. Regardless, it still gets a steady 10,000 players on average, which is a pretty healthy number, and around 15,000-20,000 on its good days. And it has been released for almost five months now. A whole lot better than Titanfall 1 did

That pistol looks more effective than SMGs and definitely the L-Star I love to use, no wonder I get melted. I can't lie, I've been getting blown out by a mixture of better players and weapons with much higher DPS recently. Does get annoying. I cannot lie. Missed out my low skill level and bad positioning vs titans.

Benchy Well, I'm seriously a bit concerned that the big skill gap can at least make player population quite small in Live Fire. A really good player can ruin the experience not only for the enemy team but to her team mates too. The round is often over before they get engaged with an enemy, or even before they see one.

Actually, it's a problem of missing player skill system realization (like ELO or something). Untill it, monster like you will face a guy, that just installed the game, like me. After obviously getting rekt a few times, i would lacking desire to play it ever again. Game is beatifull btw.

Benchy, looks like your using some kind of aim assist or a slower dpi when shooting pilots. When you are looking around your dpi is much faster to my eye.
