Think about Majora's Mask, and the three transformation masks: One is a deku scrub whose body you see near the very beginning of the game. The goron mask comes from a dead goron who begs for resurrection or rest. And you see a zora squirm and die in front of you.

Seriously, do people think the hanging Luigi shadow is completely intentional and made to spook people out? As said before, the shadow is the result of lightning and the camera angle not "working together properly." Just because Nintendo sneaks strange things into their games every once in a while doesn't mean everything strange we see is intentional.

Ok, I think the shadow looks not really like a hanging Luigi. Its probably an unintended graphic fail that his shadow is a bit higher up than its supposed to be. I think that the creators didn't intend it, but I still love the theory and I think the nintendo fandom is just great for finding those details and making up so much backstory and trivia.

So when he says "I'm Boo B. Hatch. I'm nuts!" He's saying he's crazy and his name references where you take crazy people.

PBG this is important. When u get to the roof and beat its mini boss/ elemental ghost, go to the right before u get the chest, and fall down the piller. And did not learn this until I last beat the game, but it's a boss ghost I always missed. Don't miss it! It's fun

The shadow matches up with the outline of Luigi+poltergust+GBH+table. It's at the correct angle for lightning from windows behind the camera. Not deathly, not a glitch. Sure is creepy, though.

Actually the hanging luigi is not an Easter egg. its a glitch that they overlooked and it looked "horrific" like as if he was being hung since his head was facing down a little and his arms are at his sides so they called it a creepy pasta. (I all found this from youtube xD)

I just realized something, when PBG said "Aren't all ghost old?" I thought about the ghost in the house all ranging in ages, so that must mean something happened to all the ghost in the house at one time, yea you could say it is different ghost from different times but the connivence of everything connecting is what makes me feel as though these ghost were a family at one point. So, that would mean all these people, the baby, the dog, the mom, the dad, the grandma, the grandpa, uncles and aunts all died at one time before they aged, so what happened in this house? Are they just lost souls, or did some sort of crazy thing happened to the people living here? Like bowser killing the family or the boos, and what is with the 'extra' ghost, are they just side ghost who are lost without identity? I feel there are so many secrets, and how something terrible probably happened, was the professor the only lucky one to escape the haunted house? There must be a reason he is attached with this one house, and knows so much about it. I feel there are hints in the game but just hidden, there are more stories there has to be-I love this game :)

Pretty sure all that "hanging Luigi" thing is, is a bug with the shadow, nothing more. There's just no animation associated with the shadow for Luigi's phone animation, so the shadow just goes into the reference pose. (Or maybe it's the standing still pose?) It's no easter egg, it's no proof that Nintendo's secretly evil, and it's nothing more than a bug.

Actually PBG ghosts can be any age. Their age starts from birth and pretty much keeps going even after death. I don't know how to get rid of them but its not a vaccum cleaner. So I guess they're pretty much immortal after death. Wow that was deep.
