Tnx, it was a great experience, stranding in the Sudanese desert when the train broke down and we had to sleep in the desert...

We had to wait for a new engine car, which arrived at 5 am local time... I almost missed it, since we where sleeping out in the desert. We had to go back to way station 6 and then on to Wadi Halfa, where we arrived 20 hours late...

Nice! Smoking trains ! As long as that facility is there, the train can break down as many times as it desires :) Is that dude in 5:14 smoking cigarettes or bango ? :)

Very nice. Hey did they ever fix that train? How did you get out? When I did the trip in the reverse direction in 2007, the old US loco had been replaced with a new Chinese one. Just another sign of the gowing influence of China in Africa.

Or, maybe you meant another sign of the failed US policies toward Sudan. Our prophet told us never never ever impose economic sanctions on your enemies.
