Aghahowa is the most efficient striker I have seen for Nigeria. His goals to chances ratio is the best.

Did anyone notice how firm Ike Shorunmu was with his hands. He covered his goal area and made would have been "classical saves" by today's goal keepers look so simple. Ike Shorunmu was one of SE's best hands, and his calm demeanor is worth mentioning.

This game was so frustrating to watch. Poor lighting and horrible pitch, but our passion for the game and super eagles then wouldnt let us miss any game. The Sudanese were resilient, but when the flood gate opened up, the goals came pouring in.

Man of the match the Nigerian goal keeper. Ike shorunmu. Never new he was that good . Quite underated .

Nigeria was on the brink of missing the 2002 World Cup when we brought Late Amodu Shuaib and Stephen Keshi to replace Bonfere Jo. But after the 2 gentlemen salvaged the situation, they were pushed aside by a Minister who knew next to nothing (he is late now). The impartial God rewarded Nigeria with astounding defeats at the World Cup.

Nigeria was virtually in the same position when we played Benin in the current WCQ. But you could see the difference in class m mentality. Something terrible has happened to Nigerian football, tbh
