Glacial Features Erosion: 1. Cirque - Bowl-shaped depressions where glaciers originate. 2. Horn - Sharp, pyramid-like peaks formed when multiple cirques erode a mountain. 3. Arête - Narrow ridges between two cirques or glacial valleys. 4. U-shaped valley - Valleys carved by glacial movement, with steep walls and flat bottoms. 5. Hanging valley - A smaller glacial valley that joins a deeper main valley, often forming waterfalls. Deposition: 1. Moraine - Accumulations of debris left by a glacier. 2. Esker - Long, winding ridges formed by sediments deposited by subglacial streams. 3. Drumlin - Smooth, elongated hills shaped by glacial movement. 4. Outwash plain - Flat areas of sediment deposited by meltwater in front of a glacier. Sea Wave Features Erosion: 1. Cliff - Steep rock faces along coasts formed by wave erosion. 2. Stack - Isolated vertical rock columns formed after the collapse of sea arches. 3. Caves - Hollow areas at the base of cliffs formed by wave action. 4. Terraces - Step-like landforms created by wave erosion or tectonic uplift. Deposition: 1. Beaches - Coastal deposits of sand or pebbles. 2. Bars - Submerged or exposed ridges of sand or sediment. 3. Spits - Narrow stretches of sand projecting into the sea. 4. Dunes - Sand mounds formed by wind but sometimes near coasts. 5. Mushroom rock - Rock formations with a narrow base and wider top due to wind erosion. 3. Pediment - Gently sloping rocky surfaces at the base of mountains. 4. Pediplain - Extensive flat surfaces formed by the merging of pediments. Deposition: 1. Barchan - Crescent-shaped dunes with horns pointing downwind. 2. Seif (Longitudinal dunes)- Long, narrow dunes parallel to prevailing winds. 3. Parabolic dunes - U-shaped dunes with tips pointing into the wind. 4.
