As a heavy duty mechanic , you did a great job with the flex pipe, a few tips is some sandpaper on the old pipe ends make sliding on the new flex pipe a lot easier! And those Step clamps should be snugged pretty dam tight! Just my 2 cents but great job anyhow

Make sure you replace the missing hanger U-bolt in front of your new flex pipe section. That portion being able to move around could very well be the cause of the old pipe getting loose and falling off.
@heatherkohlwey83793 жыл бұрын
I heard that leak before you even got in the truck and left the farm. You're really lucky that pipe came off and let you know it or you might not be here with that gas coming into the cab. Somebody was watching over you. Stay safe and God bless.
@roberthakeman98223 жыл бұрын
Ryan it's cool to see you updating machinery and equipment around the farm, maybe you can increase your truck fleet and trailer,if so I hope you can get a automatic tarp and hopper doors saves alot of time of getting in and out of the truck. Good Luck in getting harvest done and bales made and field work done. Haven't seen Hannah around much,only to bring you lunch. Maybe you should get her to get her CDL and be your other driver for short trips.

Good thinking on rolling the window down - that could have gone bad real quick if you were paying attention. Glad to see it was a fairly simple fix though! Wondering if getting a second truck for next year will help buy more time for getting harvest shots? Having alot to haul is never a bad problem though i suppose lol

Personally I'd just put a 5 inch pipe with no muffler on that semi of yours and run it - the louder the truck the better for me! I hate trucks with quiet mufflers, I need trucks with super loud exhaust systems, such as straight pipes! By the way, what make, model, year, engine and transmission is the semi? Would love a super long unedited driving/shifting video of it with no muffler, just complete straight pipes! Like I said, the louder the better, I need to be able to hear that engine roar! Please let me know ASAP.
