My thoughts: (1) First 600 so episodes of Anupama were meaningful and reasonable rest is a drag for profit. Unfortunately the party, jewelry, stage show kind of celebrations started gaining much higher momentum after Anupama’s divorce one, second may be, sadly, this has became way of celebrations which I do believe contradicts with modesty, and even showcasing our wrong perception of beauty and happiness aka mindless consumerism. There aren’t enough sets where decent homes with natural grass (not artificial green carpets or concrete jungle) and trees and nature’s beauty exist - definitely not if trying to depict India’s diminishing middle class- which shows how much we are choosing to disconnect from ground reality into showbiz lifestyles. (2) It’s of no value trying to analyze your actions that prompted people to doubt if anyone is gay. It’s a manipulation and largely a consequence of degrading society that induce stress and confusion and unclean media exposure to kids. Freddie Mercury’s song “I want to break free” is one thing if you hear without the visual and total insanity with the visual- his life/lifestyle is testimony to loss of great talent due to lack of thought and right environment. (3) I am an atheist not because it is a choice amongst religions to follow but because it is the truth. I fail to understand how doing pooja/prayers counts in any of the two - doing good deeds or fighting bad deeds? To me nature and its abundance that sustains human life is the superpower we all are trying to find even as we pollute Ganga/Yamuna via religious and industrial waste or when we encourage burka system and other religion based beliefs in the name of God. Second, it is also a way to escape our responsibility towards humanity and environment because pooja/prayers registers our presence somehow asking “God” to clean up the mess we/humans create every day.
