All India Trinamool Congress, also known as AITC, TMC and Trinamool Congress was founded by Mamata Banerjee on 1st January 1998. AITC has been in power in the state of West Bengal since 2011, with a motto of standing up for Maa-Mati-Manush (Mother-Motherland-People).
