His first song was a medley of Smile/Send In The Clown where while talking to the audience he did a little make-up on himself and 5 minutes later voila! he transformed into "Charlie Chaplin." He took the award for "Best performance of the evening". He included the fast part in the song to show that he could dance too - a planned strategy to beat Anita Sarawak who represented Singapore. If anyone out here attended the ASEAN Medical Student Conference in KL in (I think) 1990, you might remember we sang this song, holding hand in hand, as the Finale of the Grand Dinner. Not to forget his singer career started when he won the champion of Bintang RTM (Radio Television Malaysia) back in 1976! At that time Bintang RTM was the most grand singing competition in Malaysia. No TV3 and Astro yet! He was still studying law at UM when he was declared the champion. Dato Siti Nurhaliza was also the Juara Bintang RTM (upgraded version as Bintang HMI) in 1995 when she was only 16 years old!😊

Did saw his live performance at USM once.very2 talented till now still remember the song he sang that nite esp..He ain' t heavy he's my brother..it was free for the students..
