I know you are most likely not going to see this, but could you please explain how your LaTeX has a dark theme? I am pretty sure I have installed all the updates and it looks nowhere near as slick as yours. It also misses most of the icons and it looks completely different. Thank you in case you invest the time in answering to this question!

Question: do you use a tablet (scratchpad) to solve the equations and then transcribe them in LaTeX? You are not recommending using LaTeX to solve the problems; only using LaTeX to create the final work to submit for grading, correct?

I'm a beginner learning from books but I'm solving the math in my editor with latex. I make too many mistakes and give up when I use a pencil and paper.
