Aside from her physical good looks, there's something incredibly attractive about her. It feels like she's really humble, yet driven to excellence. It feels like a really rare combo.

I actually appreciate that he talked about himself too, that he got to create a connection with her. Because this felt more like watching two friends talk & catch up than watching an interview. Sue seems very at ease and open, which I want to believe is to some credit to this guy, who made himself open to connect with her.

Thanks for the interview! So rare to get these 1 to 1 talk with Sue but it's very nice to hear from her. All the best to the upcoming WNBA Season.

@@DavidMeltzer Tough question because there are so many. I was a reporter for nearly 50 years before my health deteriorated and in that time I was privileged to interview thousands of men, women and kids and always learned more than what I needed for the story of the day. So, if I were to make a list of people I’d like you to interview, it would include: broadcaster Nicole Wallace, because she is articulate and has shown an-all-to-rare ability to change her mind when presented with facts that would justify that; Eddie George, former NFL player now a Broadway actor because he has made a successful - and very unusual - career change; inventor Simone Giertz, who forged a successful career doing what she enjoys and did so despite a brain tumor; Laura Vitale, successful Internet chef, who chose an unusual career path; soccer player Ali Krieger, because she knows what it takes to be a champion; WNBA player DeWanna Bonner, who is not only a star player but the mother of twins because she has successfully balanced the challenges of being a top-flight athlete and mom; and, finally, activist Stacey Abrams, who turned a narrow political defeat into a moral victory by refusing to sit on the sidelines. Hope that helps.

That guy just talks TOO much for an interviewer. He’s making this about him not Sue.

Not all interviewers should follow the same script. I think his way gives us a conversation instead of 20 questions she has already answered.

Watched this again and have decided to comment on this. Don't know what you want to achieve with this interview but as I see it this interview is mostly about you. 🙄 And one more thing, please try to find the time to research and know more about the person you are interviewing. Sue Bird is WNBA!!! How come you don't know that she's still an active player (during this interview). Giving her all those compliments somehow made me feel they're not sincere. Just saying. 😎 Sue Bird, the greatest point guard in the WNBA in my lifetime. ❤
