Just a great ferocious battle that is kind if exactly what u would expect with barbarian v,s barbarian and just an awesome last stand by the elite oathsworn who really lived up to their name... thoroughly enjoyed it! Um I don't really know, I wasnt using any mods for this. Maybe try reducing your camera movement speed

before charging the last stand hill you should have surrounded, scouted and allowed your infantry to recover. just a thought. Love your videos, easily one of the best Rome 2 players on here

THFE Productions very nice and epic battle though, it always surprises me how good you grasp of the battlefield is i remember you said a while ago that some rome 1 players are good mostly because they know how to exploit the game's mechanics well, turns out you were right because these guys dont do that well in rome 2

I heard that it isn't good to counter charge infantry into heavy cav. Instead let the infantry stand still and brace for the cav charge.

Spearmen are not the best. I mean hoplites can hold a front pretty well and elite spears can do pretty well. They mostly have buffs in defense and armor more than killing power

Favorite barbarians is tough. For competition I'd field Arverni cause they seem sturdiest but I like the colors and units of Iceni

Fun battle, chill your commentary out a little bit though. You wind up repeating yourself all over the place. What you're showing on screen can speak for itself. For example, when you want to highlight something happening you say "right here"; you can describe what you think is interesting and just mouse over the appropriate area instead. It's similar to when someone does a presentation and they read the slide to you, it's redundant and can be grating. Good job overall though, keep at it.

Wow. The Gauls got 1000 more kills and still lost. They really didn't handle losing the rush to the first hill well and sent there soldiers in piecemeal rather than pulling back.
