Dude. I’m 29 years old. I’m the youngest person in the state at the position where I work. My life totally revolves around my job and I have little time for anything. I literally don’t even listen to music anymore. I used to play guitar with bands growing up, one of them i left and they went off and made it. This song took me back to 2004-2009 when I was going to warped tour every summer and getting lost in the crowd or staring out into it and feeling such peace and joy. I’m growing and making a name for myself with my new career path and I feel successful but I still feel complacent.. or paralyzed. No matter how much I do and try, I’m not really growing in my self, just in what this job needs me to be. I can’t tell you what this one song, out of the thousands probably I’ve heard in my life has done for my mental health and psyche.
