If Bernard was aiming for Hendrix-level virtuosity here I think he succeeded.

There’s nothing that even comes close to 90s music. This is a time where underground punk and alternative music blew up big time. Comparable to when people heard The Beatles and Led Zeppelin for the first time.

Honestly speaking i like year era of Suede in early 1993. I remember one of my best fren came back from UK in year 1994. He gave me Suede debut album as X'mas present. That is my first time heard of the band Suede. Only early 95' in S'pore then Suede become mainstream. If i"m not wrong. I remember first heard Suede song SG played on the airwave is "The Wild One" Then in 97' they came to SG for their live concert. They Suede played live in Harbour Pavilion, SG. It was the best concert in that year of 1997. Those were the memories of my best year. .

Suede es sin duda alguna la banda britanica mejor lograda del llamado Britpop. Sin lugar a dudas una agrupación formidable.

Bernard Butler best 90s guitarist period Noel Gallagher and Graham Coxon can’t touch him

...though John Squire certainly can in terms of technical proficiency. I'd say he was probably the most technically gifted guitarist to come out of the whole 80s/90s British indie scene ('Second Coming' album especially was Jimmy Page and Robin Trower levels, also blending in his love of Hendrix and Eddie Hazel) followed though by yes Butler who was virtuoso level at times. Also shout out to Johnny Greenwood, Coxon, Nick McCabe, Terry Bickers...

Shout out for Nick McCabe too. I think he and Butler were two of the most technically gifted players around at that time. Along with James Dean Bradfield. How lucky we were!

I laughed out loud when that clown Justine said she thought Graham was a better guitarist than Bernard. Says everything you need to know about her.

True. Don’t want to compare, but they don’t know how to play guitar as a master compared to Bernard. We know genius does not need to argue , they prove this by their works
