The Blue Hour is one of their very best records. Top 3. Suede have bloomed beautifully while nearly all of their contemporaries have fell apart or grown soft.

Thanks a lot! What a fantastic audience and the venue. We went from Russia to watch them the following day in Milan and we got to hear some gems in Sometimes I Feel I'll Float Away or Oceans. A special band always giving over 100%. Hopefully, more dates in Europe next year

I was on to the first album when it was released and I thought this guy has been following me about, I seen them a few times at festivals and they are one of the top ten British bands of all time, they observations of life are heartfelt, gut wrenching and blindingly obvious, as he walked on stage I'm sure a crew member said "break a leg" in theatrical speak, thinking about it now I think I worked for them as local crew at Newcastle arena, P.S. shame about the sound quality, sounds like the wind is carrying it away,

Something wrong with Brett’s voice when he is taking high notes. I’ve noticed it as well during second London show
@RealReado6 жыл бұрын
Just getting old I suspect. His singing style, like most has changed and improved over the years but it tends to be harder to hit the high notes as you age. In response to another comment here about Richard Oakes’s performance - I saw one of their first gigs with Richard Oakes and as much as I wanted to dislike him (I was and still am a huge Bernard Butler fan), his ability as a guitarist have impressed me more and more each time I see them. His playing now spans many more Suede albums (plus he’s done solo work) than BB and the last three in particular, have been fantastic.

Wayne Readshaw Richard guitar parts still pretty much predictable and didn’t improve over the years, sadly Hi is world class guitarist, but not the genius unfortunately

I don’t have any opinion. I don’t feel he has significant influence on Suede as musician. One more person on stage

@@yuriymatochkin9428 I was wondering the same too, but why he got so many credits in their last three albums?
