Should have been a single, but then most Suede B-Sides were strong enough to be singles in their own right. That's why Suede singles were little gems, they were mini EPs. Richard Oaks debut was worthy.

My favourite Suede song. I luckily saw them play it live when they played all of Coming up at Brixton a few years back - awesome gig!

I bloody love this tune. The only thing that bothers me about it is that the guitar sound that comes in around 4mins in, is one of the best things about it, and that it should have been made more prominent in the production or indeed made into another tune. But still, another utterly brilliant tune from one of the best British bands ever.

I think it's a form of hook. I've noticed a lot of Smiths tracks have something like that, especially the b-sides. Check out Half a Person and Unloveable. Or You Just Haven't Earned it yet Baby.
