Completely agree that's my favorite song from the 90s 👍 there was lots of great bands around like Supergrass and the Manics what a time.

Oh maybe, maybe it's the clothes we wear The tasteless bracelets and the dye in our hair Maybe it's our kookiness Or maybe, maybe it's our nowhere towns Our nothing places and our cellophane sounds Maybe it's our looseness But we're trash, you and me We're the litter on the breeze We're the lovers on the streets Just trash, me and you It's in everything we do It's in everything we do Oh maybe, maybe it's the things we say The words we've heard and the music we play Maybe it's our cheapness Or maybe, maybe it's the times we've had The lazy days and the crazes and the fads Maybe it's our sweetness But we're trash, you and me We're the litter on the breeze We're the lovers on the streets Just trash, me and you It's in everything we do It's in everything we do We're trash, you and me We're the lovers on the streets We're the litter on the breeze Just trash, me and you It's in everything we do It's in everything we do We're trash, you and me We're the lovers on the streets We're the litter on the breeze Just trash, me and you It's in everything we do It's in everything we do We're trash, you and me We're the lovers...

What a fantastic track this is. The whole album is a masterpice - all killers, no fillers.. I saw them on this tour and they were majestic.
@gorofujita5767 Жыл бұрын
Filmstar is much weaker than the rest though, and could be easily deemed filler
@hauntological Жыл бұрын
@@gorofujita5767 Funny you mention Filmstar. Although not mine - that track is both my brother and sister's fave on the whole album.
@gorofujita5767 Жыл бұрын
@@hauntological Perhaps it reminds them of some simpler 80s songs? Its melodic structure is very similar to Warrant's Cherry Pie -- a song which that same band came to loath and consider awfully commercial and generic

@@gorofujita5767Filmstar will always have a special place in my heart. First Suede track I heard as a boy. I definitely wouldn’t call it filler, though it may be “weaker” than the rest of the album.

why they given up??
@pamela8329 Жыл бұрын
@@qwertyu6744 Not sure really. The press wrote that years ago. Perhaps they didn't feel the love from US audiences, quite like they did at home. I've heard some UK artists say the US lot were tough nuts to crack.

Today’s indie music is terrible, this is how it’s done . Flavour of the moment and every instagram “LAD” idol Liam Gallagher has no material to release so he’s touring his brothers album , Anyone old enough in the 90s to have seen suede etc your lucky , imagine being a Gen Z and thinking 1975 are rock n roll 😂
