I voted for brexit because i didn't want people from other countrys telling us what to do , we wasnt allowed to change our immigration laws that was the whole reason for the referendum, after brexit my wages went up by 5000 a year due to my boss not being able to find cheap labour , if it wasnt for brexit i wouldn't of survived the pandemic or high inflation.

Actually due to a thing called an 'opt out ' the UK could have changed it's laws concerning immigration at any time - and post brexit well - I see taking control of the borders has really worked well. Could not agree with you more. @@Roundhead75

from self-self-hosted solutions like XMPP/Matrix/.. or (semi)decentralized like Tox/SimpleX/... chat to using the meta and whatsup as a transport for your encrypted messages, there are options. It would be really a problem if they shutdown the Internet and make everyone go through proxies, but even this would be not the end of the world. So it should sound more like a meta's problem.
