It's pretty good, actually. It intensifies the savory flavor of shrimp, and the texture is really crunchy and nice too. It is common in my country (Korea) to eat the whole prawn, from head to tail (head often fried). You should really try it sometime!

You should take off the shell of the shrimp when cooking it because it's literally just the shell that is getting seasoned. When you get the shrimp meat itself, it's seasoned better because all of the juices and the seasonings actually get sucked into the shrimp instead of it just sitting on the outside.
