This is an outstanding version, just beautiful. Marko is singing in Finnish, Floor in Latin and English. There was a bit of a spoken intro before the song where Floor says to Marko something like ' this is where you tell them that this is the first time we are singing together'. lol. (video for this on Nightwish Arena page).

I was there, at that show. My last before the world shut down for three years. It was a beautiful moment when they sang that song. ❤ Also, if you're reacting to RJ, you need to react to JP Leppäluoto. He performs with them as well and is the best voice in Finland, in my opinion.

Marco’s height is quoted as 5ft 11 in’s (1.8m), so Floor probably has heals on so would be quite a bit taller. Wolfman love your TShirt, my coffee mug has that iconic scene on it, also.

You know that Floor is back, with a full battery again, giving her first solo concert on the 8th December 2023 at AFAS Amsterdam together with her sister Irene taking the "floor" in some songs! This was the last one "Daydream". Full of energy, even in the last part of the show. And Irene can sing too! I'm not usually a great fan of classical music being re-done in modern electronic versions. I make an exception for this magnificent piece of Schubert, "Ellens dritter Gesang", part of his Op. 52, a setting for Walter Scott's "Lady of the Lake". Marco is superb, Floor as always is brilliant and the ending of this performance always brings tears to my eyes. Thank you friends, for doing this. I hope you are both ok and Joe is looking after you both?

SueSue and the Wolfman, Hyvää Joulua ja Onnellista Uutta Vuotta ( Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in Finnish). While I was born in the USA my mother came from Finland after WW2 and while I never did learn Finnish that is one phrase I did learn. And yes I am a big Nightwish, Floor and Marko fan. While not Finnish, a Nordic recommendation for a Christmas themed song is "Pie Jesu" written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and performed by Eivor and an Icelandic singer by the name of Disella. This was from the same concert that you listened to with your daughter a couple of weeks ago. Search "Disella og Eivor Palsdottir - Pie Jesu".
