These two wonderful kids made my day yesterday. They are both born 1987 and are, in my opinion, the two best male singers in Sweden right now. I just love them both. I have seen Erik live with H.E.A.T several times, and he is a GREAT live performer and singer. Carolus Rex is latin for "King Charles" - King Charles XII (Kung Karl XII in Swedish).

Love both these guys here in Australia, followed them both for many months now. The voices and the music, including Tommy's solo just send chills up your spine. Sad in one way (but good in another) both have recently left their respective bands (Erik - Skidrow and Tommy - Sabaton) but we will see more of their solo stuff. I am a long time lover of the late Gary Moore from the 80's and discovered Tommy cupla years ago when he went through a stage of admiration of Gary and has reproduced many of his songs on his channel. And the tone and sound of the guitar Tommy has emulaed on Gary is just heaven to hear. A bit of other interesting history with the song, Carolus Rex was produced equally for two bands so you will see both Sabaton and another band Follow the Cipher (and this is an awesome version with a female fronted band singer) have this song. So technically it is a cover of both band songs :-) Erik is an awesome singer and teaming up with Tommy is amazing.

I maybe wrong, but I think he used the Terminator in Halloween by Helloween. Erik has a duet with Dan Vasc, can it be the one u heard? He sang 18 and life on his Idol-audition in Sweden, and that’s how he got the job in Skidrow. Oh.. and they didn’t fuck it up👍
