@@josepha133 hmm,, idk where to start.. i'm a south asian gay girl and as someone who's been brought up in the culture, my thoughts and values are often different than non-desi or non-poc queer people. sometimes it shows in my internalized homophobia, or the way i view romance (bollywood influenced lol), or what values i have. for example, i have a hard time being romantically attracted to white gay girls bc i feel that they don't understand why i can or can't do certain things or why i feel a certain way...

We often internalized a lot of the fear of racism and homophobia so typically we often go out of our way to make sure other people are comfortable around us. And we just worry about offending people constantly. This happens with some white gays, but generally since their experiences are not as involved in racism, colorism, socioeconomic disparity, they don’t consider their life to be something to be offensive. It isn’t in theory, but due to our constant fear of rejection, misogyny, and racism, we just overdo it to make others feel safe around us.

I would like to share my story When I was in clge I came face to face with my feelings for women as well and never before did I realise I was missing something.
