Ever since I became a Muslim three years ago, the dhikr of the Naqshbandi tariqa has always revivified my heart and given me the greatest spiritual joy. May Allah bless all shayukh, muqqaddama, and all fuqara.

When you are in a Dhikr like this, you forget about dunya and focus only on Allah. By hearing it around you, it creates a buzz, an atmospher which raises your spirit making you feel like you can recite Allahs name all day and night. This is my personal opinion, and i believe that if you are praising Allah SWT it is then between you and your Maker, Salaam to all! :)

Very nice dhikr mashallah. I watch alot of dhikr or hadra videos as I enjoy them.I see alot of comments about it being bid'ah, some people say this is haram or these people are not muslims. I'm pretty sure its a big sin to call a muslim a kaffir. After all what do you know and how can you judge people. Allah knows best. If a person believes in 1 god, the angles, heaven and hell, the jinn, the quran and our prophet he is muslim. That person is my brother sufi,sunni,salafi whatever.

one prime example is wen the arch angel came to muhammad saw to reveal the first ayat in mount hira after the meeting he the prophet saw went home and said to his wife khadija r.a that give me a blanket as the prophet saw was shivering that shivering was the ecstacy of meeting the angel and the energy released to him was from allah swt

There you go: Anas ibn Mâlik (ra) said that the Abysinians (Habashîs) danced in front of the Messenger of Allâh (saw); dancing while saying "Muhammad is a Righteous Servant (Muhammadun `Abdun Sâlih)" (in their language). Allâh's Messenger (saw) asked, "What are they saying?" And they responded, "Muhammadun 'Abdun Sâlih!". "`Â'isha stated that Allâh's Messenger (saw) put her cheek on his shoulder while looking at the Abyssinians dance."

(Reported by al-Nisaa'i in al-Sunan, Salaat al-'Eedayn, Baab kayfa al-Khutbah). Reports with the same meaning were narrated via Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) by Ahmad, via al-'Irbaad ibn Saariyah by Abu Dawud and via Ibn Mas'ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) by Ibn Maajah.

Hmmm the Purpose of Dhikr is to induce trance in order to ascend the mystical stages to be one with Allah. In other words it means as it is said over and over in the Qur'an: "To Allah shall you return." Which is said in many forms in that beautiful occult books that is clear Al-Qur'an

@honestknight1 I agree that we should perform salah like Muhammad (SAWS) taught us. But, what's wrong with glorifiyng the name of Allah? Sufis don't say that dhikr replaces salah, or that it is better then salah. If a person wants to give praise to Allah through dhikr why not? I'm neither Sufi nor Salafi but don't see any problem with Sufis chanting, or whirling, or whatever they do to glorify our God. I say Sufis did much more for Islam then Salafis. Imam al-Ghazali alone did more then Salafis.

What's the proof and evidence - in our Islamic authentic sources - that HAQQANI is a name of Allah. Last time I checked the Qur'aan, it's Not there. And also, last time I checked the Books of Hadeeth, the Prophet never said "Haqqani" is Allah's name :(

@shazillazhar ok brother may Allah s.w.t. rewards you... if you have Fathul bari in your home, or in any library ( it's a must have for islamic library ) and look up to the name Al-Bazzar... btw.. .fathul bari is the book that you always look into, if your not sure is this narrator good, weak, or fake... I have fathul bari in my room where I sleep so... If you don't believe me, look on google what's fathul bari, one of the most used books in this ummah... may Allah s.w.t guide you brother :D

The Scholar who wrote the Tafseer in Arabic NEVER WROTE (in power). Rather - dear respected brother - all the Tafseer Scholars have unanimously agreed to the indisputable fact that it is حَرَام (forbidden) to associate ANYONE - no prophet, angel, etc - with Allah in what is Rightfully His Alone. i.e. worship, du'aa', supplication, prostration, slaughtering

Do dhikr of Allah: Sitting, walking, laying down, alone, in a group, by making a circle and reciting and chanting the 99 names of Allah.. there are several ways to do dhikr.... People of understanding know this is not innovation.. May Allah give us ability to understand Islam correctly and protect us from every misguidance.

@Crunchybear1 Once again, please read the Qur'aan, Surah # 35, verse # 14. The Sahaabah did NOT call on the Prophet after his death. They would, instead, use the Righteous People who were alive -- for tawassul in their Du'aa'. But they would not call on the dead. See the Quran, Chapter 35, Ayah 14
