On 2021 after watching this movie, I felt really depressed and had a difficulties to forget this movie for almost 4 months, especially at night or at around 2 to 3am where only sadness circulates in my mind. The movie had a huge impact to my life as person and who I am today >< The movie is amazing with an incredible actor, they're just way too difficult to forget about them up until now, their characters as ELIO & OLIVER. This movie will be my forever fav movie 🥲

its strange but i don't understand just before the hours of waking up around 3, 4 am for a few moments i feel sad. i go back to sleep and i feel alright again during the day but there is something off about waking up for a moment at 3am i can feel incredibly sad at that moment. is this just me or do others suffer the same thing as me?

I.e. you know longer knew yourself? I guess you mean instead is that what you got over, was falling too easily in love. My first answer to you was to suggest that, while you lampoon people who love the film for mixing up a great romance and a summer fling, it is not the spectator but the character of the film who mixes up a great romance and a summer fling. That's what all adolescents do in general, and that's one of the ways in which the film is so moving: in portraying that moment in growing up.
