IU and Yoongi actually collabed in 2020 as well for her song ‘Eight’ that she wrote for her friends that were also idols, but sadly all three took their own lives in the time space of about 2 years. It was also about how she felt at the age of 28, making it part of her age series along with her songs Twenty-three, and palette. IU has been in the idol industry since 2008, so she’s considered as BTS’ senior, although she’s the same age as Suga. Fun fact, Jungkook used to say IU was his ideal type and celebrity crush, and the first ever album he bought was hers. She’s also known extremely well in Korea (probably one of the most well known artists there, the type that even your grandma knows and loves), and she has the title of The nations little sister, although she isn’t as young as she was when she was first given that title. However, she struggled in the first part of her career as she debuted with a dark, slightly creepy, and sad ballad which the public did not like a 15 year old girl doing, so her company made her change her style to innocent songs cantered on how young and naive she was. However as she started writing songs more, she decided not to listen to her company anymore and do what she wanted with her music, which is when she released her album Cheshire, with the song 23 being about what she thinks and feels at the age of twenty three, wanting to be more mature than the public saw her.

Isn't my ultimate bias fantastic? 😬💜 People is the song that cemented my adoration for Yoongi, it completely blew me away the first time I heard it, and I didn't even know what the lyrics were back then. The female voice that can be heard in People is no other than Adora, who used to be an in-house producer for Big Hit. She can be heard on some Hope World tracks for J-hope too. She debuted with a song I really like, Make U Dance in 2021.

The members are like siblings to each other, family is different than friends. It's like if you were only friends with your siblings but had no other friends, it's definitely lonely. It's hard for them to make friends because of the level of stardom they have, it's quite an isolated and restricted existence. They can't just be friends with anyone, they have to be very careful as anyone close to them can leak or sell private information. Lots of people may not even want to be friends with the guys, because of the spotlight and public scrutiny that comes from it. They have a hard time knowing who are actually their real friends and who just wants to use them (Jimin talks about being used in his song Face Off in his new album). Their romantic lives are equally hard to navigate for similar reasons.

My bias Yoongi!!! This guy and RM have a way with words. Most underrated rappers in the world. Not an opinion. It's a fact. You must check out Daechwita, Interlude:Shadow, Eight (feat IU), So Far Away, and The Last. You wanna see how deep his lyrics can go? Then The Last is it. This song is very personal to me as I relate to it so much and this is the song that made Suga my bias.
