He’s a total beast about writing and stays up all night making music that’s why he’s tired. RM said he writes a song a month and Suga writes (lyrics, beats, or melody) about 200 a year. He just has tons of stuff on his hard drive and fiddles around with it after it’s sat for a few years till he likes it. He takes his recording equipment everywhere and I just adore his creativity. I have long thought that the female idols especially soloists really want to work with him and the ones who have talk so well of him. Honestly his solo song First Love is the most heartfelt beautiful raw thing. He and RM write songs that are foundational to who BTS has become and it’s amazing they have that freedom to do so.

Just another Yoongi bias here to say, "Yep, that's why". Except every Yoongi bias can say that about everything he does. All OT7 are multi-faceted geniuses, but Yoongi gets the attention of a select fanbase and he keeps it. He is a brilliant producer and lyricist (I think his honesty and willingness to discuss what is often considered taboo in hip-hop is the edge he has for me personally over RM's exceedingly impressive wordplay because RM the member who constantly tries to bias wreck for me, followed by all the others), I don't need to tell you his rapping can make men and women cum cause he'll tell you himself, he has his own unique version of the duality every member of BTS is famous for, and the way he cares for his fellow members/brothers and ARMY and people he's never met before is so touching it can make you have hope for a world seemingly without any.

For me whenever I write fanfics or stories, I base it around a song I listen to and some of the cannon stuff in the show or game. Or when it comes to writing lyrics, I usually write as soon as i feel depressed or contemplative . But I remember losing my song book some years ago and from then I stopped writing lyrics, it's like a flow got cut off and I can't reattach it. i find inspiration in like most things around me. as an aspiring writer i find inspiration in just people all around me, strangers walking past me on the street, things like that. then normal things like movies and tv shows, art and drawings, music and lyrics, books and stories, real events and accounts. but also things like sociology and psycology, the reason behind people's motives and reactions, like what causes change in politics and society, how a single person or act can change so much. so yeah everything inspires me, but the hard part is trying to put that inspiration to use, when writing stories you can't just put all things that inspire you together, it will be too much or just not coherent.
