The interview was published with that wording, and neither Yoongi or Big Hit ever tried to deny or retract it (which they have done for actual misquotes in the past). I said it remains ambiguous simply because that's the only source we have where he says something so clearly (aside from a few interesting lyrics) and he hasn't followed it up with any other statements. The wording in Japanese is not ambiguous at all, but we can't be sure exactly how he worded things in Korean, therefore we have to be somewhat skeptical. However it's pure speculation on your part to assume he "must have been misquoted" in a published article. As for 'evidence' of him saying the exact opposite, he hasn't made any kind of comment relating to his own sexuality since then, although he has been outspoken in favour of LGBTQ+ rights.
