Alright so like if you wanna talk about like shit that just blew up like rage beats and shit and you take yeat he don’t sound anything like so faygo and they both sound nothing like DC the don and DC the don has Melodie’s and hits notes with the best singers. If we talking rap in general there’s more diverse rap and more diverse genres than ever before and it highkey makes me mad that y’all say shit like new music sound the same when literally it’s so overflooded with new music all the fucking time nothing sounds the same like do you realize 5 months ago baby tron blew up and that was the second style to just come off of Detroit beats that had blown up with yn jay like a year before that and then 3 months after you get the bar god baby tron literally being one of the best punchline gods ever to exist you get the rage wave blowing up with was nothing like the Detroit wave and it’s hella funny because before all of that you had the west coast beats blow up and in between all that you had the ny drill blow up so literally all these different sub genres of rap right there and then you got the more mainstream people like the mumble rap genre out of Atlanta with quality control and that’s literally a fucking label that created a wave and sound and then you had the emo rap which still is around and you also have the melody of New York like a boogie and then you got the even higher mainstream goats like Kanye and drake and Travis and so on and so forth along with a fat ass sub genre still of boom bap rappers like Vince staples and Joey badass and earl sweatshiet but nah y’all don’t wanna give respect to respect instead you want to dick ride the 90s where it wasn’t bad but y’all never fail to realize the 90s isn’t the golden age of rap and it wasn’t the best because they didn’t have reach and they didn’t have access not like now where literallt any mf can get fruity loops and post a song on soundcloud and y’all take that like it doesn’t mean shit like we don’t have rappers on the cover of everything from fucking everywhere when most you got in the 90s was some gq maybe yfm Tupac was never gonna shake hands with the president. Along with it sounds and the ability to actually use a voice and everything along with all the sounds that go into instruments have been developed so damn much over the past 20-30 years like niggas don’t understand the level it took for a kick to be able to reach this certain pitch and just the ability in general to put together music and create something amazing. Beats in the 90s all sounded more the same than anything today with just the massive amount of today diversity like y’all realize in the 90s boom bap was the only rap style so it wasn’t even a rap style it just was but now it’s a sub genre meaning in the 90s them niggas literally all rapped in the same genre and today there’s like 800 fucking rap genres so please make that all these rappers sound the same shit make sense.

@@oxxyi3600 you kind have a point but you lack knowledge about 90s Hip Hop. Boom Bop wasn't the only style . in the 90s you had gangsta rap coming from the west coast, Down South in Texas you had screwed up like Dj Screw, Fat Pat, Lil Keke , youngstar Slim Thug , Paul Wall etc in Florida you had the bounce/booty music like Uncle Luke, 2 Live Crew , it was fast paced . Atlanta had Soulful music with a message like Outkast, Goodie Mobb , Dungeon Family . Midwest had the fast rappers , like Twista, Bone Thugs, Crucial Conflict , They rapped really fast and they called it " "Toungue Twisting", similiar to what the Migos are doing today .in the early 90s , The East Coast had the boom bap sound like Wu Tang, Nas, Common , they also had jazz influenced hip hop like De La Soul, Black Sheep ,Digable Planets, Tribe Called Quest .then in the mid-late 90s you had the flashy rap sound like Diddy, Mase, Fabolous etc . and also Hardcore , which was the East Coast version of Gangsta Rap like DMX , Onyx ,Busta Rhymes . and that's just to name a few . However, the 90s were more diverse than you realize.

I had no idea who Suga Free was until two days ago. His flow is interesting. But I like this song, especially the chorus!

yea suga free is more known on the west coast. more so L.A. locals know suga free. I remembering hearing this song when I was 11yrs old. the O.G.'s used to ride around playing suga free in the hoods. suga free never really went main stream.
