Fellow ARMYs- don't believe this rot! There was a supposed scare- almost identical to this, around October. Suga had a real issue (Aug-Sept), sadly of his own making...BUT as that died down, and wasn't being mentioned, THIS story came up....then it went quiet (after somehow dragging Suga's parents, JK and JK's parents -- and later V's father(!!) into other stuff supposedly connected, and not)...then -THIS pops up - very similar line. The vid actually says ..".or are these just stories invented by the media?" YES THEY ARE!!

I'm calling bs. Firstly, SUGA isn't serving on any military base... he's a social service worker, not a soldier. Secondly, it's illegal for South Korean civilians to carry guns. Thirdly, I highly doubt that anyone could breach any South Korean military base, and certainly not a sasaeng... they usually have lots of money, and whilst they may be able to break into dorms and hotel rooms by paying staff for info, they're not smart enough to enter a military base... and even if they did, they wouldn't know how to find any BTS member, whilst trying to get past thousands of military personnel. Using some parts of truthful statements, with complete fantasy, doesn't make any story true. By using just enough truth, theybthink that everyone, or least the gullible, will believe the whole story... and judging by the comments, they're right! International fans need to understand cultural differences between countries, and whilst they may have opinions regarding such things as Mandatory Military Service, the judicial system, and South Korea's stance on drugs, it's not their place to make demands, just like, whilst many of us don't agree with the US' 'right to bear arms', we cannot demand that they make it illegal carry guns. In my opinion, this is just another case of a channel telling porkies for views, likes, and subscriptions. Time to report this channel to HYBE.

I just hope the idols are alright. I'm UK & realise that cultural differences can mean that things are misunderstood. Translations can cause no end of problems too. I understood Suga had been moved because of death threats which got taken seriously after his family received some too, or something actually happened. I will say that watching Jungkook doing a live chat with ARMY over the winter holidays break, made for very difficult viewing. I don''t know BTS as such yet, they were the reason for me trying Kpop in the first place but I heart Moon Bin's voice first via a trailer & got distracted! But what I have seen/heard/read about etc, gave me the impression that all the boys are confident idols. The Jungkook I watched was so far removed from that. Whatever confidence he had before he went into the military has gone. He didn't know what to say for a long while except repeating a heartfelt comment that he had missed the fans so much. He seemed embarrassed and a bit disconnected, like he could hardly believe that he was really home, away from the military world. I think he may be experiencing PTSD but am probably wrong. I hope I am and I hope he's getting good professional help. I do know that he's extremely talented as an entertainer and he has a beautiful singing voice. I'd be happy just to know that all the BTS boys are happy, healthy, getting what rest they need whilst on leave at least, and looking forward to a successful comeback.💜
