The current lineup catches a lot of flack for replacing Heidi with Siobhan but let’s be honest the harmonies are much tighter and Siobhan’s interpretation of the same lyrics brings more of a strong/independent vibe which is much more in line with what the Sugababes were intended to stand for. IMO Heidi’s vocals were much more commercial/sexy/sweet/pretty sounding than the lyrics were actually trying to portray.

I clearly remember when this song came out on Wednesday the 11th of September 2000 during (THE BEST RAVING YEAR I EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE WHILST BUSSIN MOVES AND DANCIN THE NIGHTS AWAY IN “THE 10 ROOMS” “CHINA WHITES” AND “CAFE DE PARIS” as well as other clubs too and me, my brother and my sister (INSTANTLY LOVED THIS SONG ) as we heard the driving bass of the song and saw the video to Overload and (STILL DO TO THIS DAY!!!!) That rhythmical baseline is (INFECTIOUS) and along with the vocals of the girls combined together and harmonising with each other which includes the brilliant writing of the lyrics of the song make those kinda ingredients put together a (PERFECT RECIPE FOR A HIT SONG WHICH OVERLOAD WAS BACK THEN FOR THE SUGABABES DEBUT SONG!!!!) Another thing I have to say is that (I’M AMAZED HOW MUTYA, KEISHA AND SIOBHÁN HAVEN’T EVEN AGED (AT ALL) SINCE THEY CAME OUT WITH THIS SONG IN 2000 FOR THE BEST PART OF TWENTY FIVE YEARS WHICH I THINK IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!!) 😍🤩😃

YES! For years i've been so disheartened that legacy of the Sugababes' iconic music videos are sub 480p videos on KZbin. I hope they all get remastered and uploaded! I think a good idea to re-introduce Sugababes into the pop scene (again) would to to create a fresh and feisty new singles megamix as well as using the remastered videos to blast across the radio stations. Set the scene for the new generation of what Sugababes was and what it will now be. I'll be down for mixing the track and editing the video ;)
