To this day I can still smell the burning sugar cane fields, which I saw and smelled as a 3 or 4 year old in 1975-76.

Yes, I too can still smell the burning fields, it was pretty scary, by choice

Great vid Paul i have never seen this done before very fascinating i can understand it being banned in the future so how is it done without fire?
@PaulWheelDriveAustralia3 жыл бұрын
Not sure actually, anyone else here know how they harvest without burning?

I remember when my family stayed on a sugar farm and it was so hot 🥵

Hi Kowald, Me being a slight city slicker, I wasn't prepared for the heat. But it was exciting 😉

I will be glad when they ban sugar cane fires. It's so polluting. Who likes that ash getting on your clothes, in your rainwater tank, on your roof, on your car or on other things? Thank you for the video.

Might be time you move to Sydney you won't have ash down there in your rain water tank.

@@carlmenzel8744 Sydney's too cold for me most of the year 🥶
