Had to come back and watch this. I remember finding Sugar Pine 7 for the first time, at the time the channel was still branded as Steven Suptic. These videos were so unique and different from anything on the platform. The joy this channel brought to not only me, but all your fans was immense. There was something special about the channel and everyone around KZbin noticed. I thought they were only going to keep growing. They should have never strayed away from this style and that was their downfall. The new videos don’t have the same tone. I’m sad because they quickly rose to the top of my favorite KZbin channel and I would wait for very upload. I wish the best to all of you and hope you can find happiness. I’ll miss you guys. This video is a double edged sword in hide sight. It is perhaps the peak of the Alternative Lifestyle vlog, but also the catalyst for the rebrand. I think Steven and the boys underestimated the damage a rebranding can have, especially with the momentum the Steven Suptic channel had. Today we sit at 1.05M subs. Without the name change and without going into an office, I think the channel has at least 10M subs at this point. I was glad to have seen perhaps the best content ever put on youtube, but it makes the fall so much harder.

Through this they spent wayyy more time working and less time in their personal lives. Which kinda messed up their Vlog formula because they now couldn't "Follow themselves around" while they were doing stuff. Like getting an Office etc. Because they had not much else going on but producing these videos. This came from one of their Podcasts with... Maybe Bruce i think? But i kinda get what they mean.
