@Sagacious Hagler got in more head and body shots throughout the fight whereas SFL held Hagler loads during the fight and tippy toed around the ring and got in a flurry of combination punches some were just slaps (most of them blocked or didn't actually connect) here and there mainly in the last couple rounds also in the last 30 seconds of each round to make it look good for the judges to make them think he won that round and those last 2 rounds is what in my opinion wrongly won him that fight but overall Hagler had it for me

Back in Sugar Ray's day...boxing was boxing...those fights were epic..Hagler, hearns, duran...Sugar Ray was special..hard not to like him..It was something to watch him fight..this was the end of the era...yeah Tyson kept it going for a few more years but for me the 70s-early 80s was the final golden era of boxing...I got lucky to grow up watching guys like Ali, Spinks, Hearns Leonard, Duran, Hagler, boom boom Mancini, Frazier, Larry Holmes, Foreman...I can't even name that many boxers in this current era...

Thurman was a unbeaten champion and he was younger. I would have picked Thurman over Pacquiao. Thurman should not have taken that fight so early in his championship career. A lot of great young fighters usually wait before fighting a fight like Pacquiao. Just because he had lost a few fights didn't mean he really lost. He actually won all those decision fights and really did lose the ones he got knocked out. Pac didn't realize Mayweather was bigger and taller than him until Floyd approached him. Mayweather fought Pac exactly the way he was supposed to fight him. Pacquiao's only chance of beating Mayweather was to get into a brawl. Mayweather was smart to avoid doing that. That's called discipline. Any other fighter with Floyd's speed would have brawled with Pac. That's why Leonard had lost to Duran. Even though the fight was close, why brawl if that's the only chance he might be able to beat you and taking all those uneccary punches if you got the skill to avoid that. Taller fighters should avoid getting into brawls that are shorter and stocky. Same with one on one basketball. Why take outside shots if you're bigger and taller? Back him up and get a layup or a short hook shot. Mayweather never allowed it to turn into a brawl and around the 10th round, Pacquiao kind of gave up. All of Mayweather past opponents said Mayweather will win because he fights smart. Pacquiao got to a point where he didn't want to throw punches because Mayweather's counters were so quick and viscous. Pac said he thought he won. Even his trainer agreed he loss. Mayweather is smart because, Pacquiao is looking for a reason for a rematch because it would be another big payday. Pac's fans actually thought Pac won. They were saying to watch the whole fight in slow motion. When I did, I took away one of the rounds I thought Pac won. Pac fans are funny, watch it in slow motion... lol

I think floyd jr vs ray leonard would have been a 12 round decision fight. Let's look at the facts; Floyd won all of his 27 world title fights, ray leonard only won 10 (11) of his 13 world title fights.
